Yes the urban areas of Vancouver have changed after Hong Kong was handed over from the British. I’ve lived in Horseshoe Bay, Coquitlam, Ladner, and 10th Ave south of Granville Island. Central, West, East and South of the city. But then it changed, so I’m thinking of the far outlying areas, but not the south, these days.

“Greater Vancouver is majority non-White… how exactly is this a ‘good place to raise kids’?” – Vancouver changed when Hong Kong closed up and they all came to Vancouver, I saw it happen. Currently I’m thinking of places like Bowen Island, how is that holding up?

Vancouver BC is a great city and area. Good place to raise kids.

I highly recommend Vancouver area to all Whites. Sailing up Howe Sound to the many islands up there. The beautiful range of many mountains on the North side of Vancouver in the fog and snow in Winter. I love all seasons in Vancouver.
