It is usually pretty easy to tell from talking to someone whether they are intelligent or not. Sometimes I feel like that is a better way to try to determine a person’s intelligence than asking them their IQ.

Okay, okay, so that’s what I think but sometimes I wonder if I am not to obssessed with only want to have a very high IQ man. So I guess it’s legitimate.

Does anybody have some studies/sources about the inheritance of the IQ ? I guess it’s true but I still have some doubts

I would say IQ is much more relevant in a romantic relationship then a friendship, since IQ is heritable and we all want our kids to have the best shot at life. I don’t think IQ is something I think about very all with friendships as long as we share interests and/or values and they are all in all a good person.

Very relevant. I am aware that there are other qualities to watch for, but this is one of the big ones. It has been discovered that high IQ has a strong correlation to success in life. Also, we need our race to continually become better than it is now.

How much are you attached to the IQ of a person to be in a relationship with or being friend with ?
