    Woooow, where do you get neighbors like that?

    Our neighbors wear masks and avoid everyone like as if we were lepers.

    Even when I go on walks, some people remind me hysterically about social distancing even before I pass them.

    I only recognize some of the neighbors by their dogs.

    @skyblue same, we left our phone numbers in the lift and most people who contacted us didn’t need help at all but just wanted to thank us. They even reciprocated the offer saying that if we need anything we can call them.
    Sure, it’s not super close BFFs status, but it’s nice to know there’s a small group of people you can rely on if need arise.

    @Admin ok thanks!

    @After the Rain The member who created the dog forum decided to not add a forum to the group (I just added one). He apparently left the platform, so I made you administrator for the group/forum to take a look and decide what you want to do with it.

    @AftertheRain:

    @skyblue Yesssss this is the perfect opportunity to strengthen the relationship with your neighbours.
    Where I live all the country people went back home in the countryside, there are a lots less people around, and me and a couple of friends are volunteering to run errands for working people who have no time/support and elderly neighbours.
    My favourite is walking the dogs, it’s not a burden at all, I might keep on doing this after the quarantine if I have time. (On a sidenote, why does the Dog Lovers group not have a forum?

    I agree. A neighbour I had never met before recently left a package at my door with some face masks, disinfectant wipes and a friendly note. The person has been going around and leaving such packages at the doors of people on my street. I thought it was great! They left their e-mail and phone number in the note, and when I called to thank them for the package it was very nice to become acquainted. Until this week I never even knew they existed, even though they live so close to me.

    Also, elderly ladies love to cook and always have pies, biscuits and other stuff, so there’s this upside that you get fed like a fat pig when you go to their house. Old grannies always think you’re scrawny and have not eaten enough so they try to feed you ahahah

    Don’t let negative people discourage you!

    This a million times!

    Negative people are not satisfied of being negative in their own little sad corner, they want to make you negative just like them.

    That’s the plan here as well. Have you been able to stay in touch with neighbors during this coronavirus situation?

    I really try to make feel better when I interact with them. Being able to talk candidly with the locals makes my day. Everyone keep your heads up, and be happy. Don’t let negative people discourage you!
