I’m sure there are a lot of camera operators in the larger White race community. Some of the cameras I’ve operated on film sets are Arri Alexa, Red Dragon, Bolex 16mm, CP 16mm, Canon C300, Sony FS 700, BlackMagic Ursa 4.6, Red Scarlet, Sony A7 III.

Speaking of White race, what I found is that even when I was 2nd place in Student Academy awards, that Hollywood wouldn’t give me a job in the mail room. Racism, nepotism, cronyism, prejudice of the Hollywood studios keep Whites out.

For a year I really was trying to figure out why. Was Hollywood racist against me because I was White race, 2nd in the Student Academy Awards for Midwest Region, and not even a low level job. Because all those jobs went to a certain racial group, which was not White.

I’ve done a lot of cinematography. I usually look for F-stop range in camera. Currently I’m amazed by the Sony A7 III with a Zeiss lens, the actors love it too. Everyone is getting used to 4K details, and this affects a lot of things on the face.

I usually prefer close pictures u feel they are clear and have a better angle

Any interesting photos/videos you’ve taken? Want to discuss camera equipment? Camera mechanics?
This is the topic for it.
