To me, being pagan and honoring the gods is far too personal to be shared with others but I am open to the possibility that I may be incorrect in my assessment.

@stephenm85 @itsnatural Thanks a lot guys for your support. I am a member of that church but I have not been to this Hof in MN; I know the members in that region are doing a lot of work to get it ready for its dedication. The best way to support and even be invited to the Baldurshof in MN would be to join the AFA (if you are serious about being Asatru): runestone.org

If you are just interested to visit as a non-member, it will be some months before it is open and you would need to wait for an event to be scheduled there.

@Stephen No, I haven’t, but would like to or stand up for it against that girl and her group of intolerant, shameful idiots to shut them down.

Anyone visit that pagan church in Minnesota yet? Was planning a trip someday and would like to visit that place. Here in Texas I haven’t spoken to many pagans but I’ve known a few. A woman came up to be when I was getting tires changes and asked me about my mjolnir. I have no problem talking about it and I get more responses from women than men. Maybe because us guys don’t walk up to each other and complement on neck chains.

I am also an Apprentice Folkbuilder with the AFA, and I would be happy to help anyone interested in pursuing a relationship with our ancestral faith and community get connected with local groups! Feel free to ask me any questions you might have as well, like where to start and how to practice, etc. I love talking about stuff like that.

I joined a folkish Asatru group and went to an event of theirs this past weekend. I’m very glad I went and really realized that this is perfect for me, so I am going to try to become active in supporting the group. Everyone is on the same page in terms of the struggle so there is not really a strong need to discuss it, which allows us to focus on a positive vision for the future instead of delving into negative and inflammatory discussions.

I met the OP there but didn’t realize it at the time.

Thanks for the invite for others, DeinBefreir. I don’t know if I will decide if I am Asatru or not, but that’s the point: to meet other like-minded white people. Unfortunately it depends on $ and any Covid lockdown BS.

I am interested. Is there such thing as a pagan type of worship service similar to christian sunday service? I would like to be able to bring my family to a type of pagan church (or w/e it’s called), without freak leftists prancing around.

    Edit: Northern Illinois

I would be interested in this as well, and I agree with GDark: every Pagan group I’ve ever met has been a bunch of liberal LARPers that don’t shower. North Florida here.

I would like to meet up with a group such as this if any are available in the Austin area. I’m agnostic but sincerely interested in learning more.

I would like this. I am just starting in my paganism and learning. Every Pagan group I have looked at locally appears very left wing.

Apologies for the delayed response, but yes I am. I get curious about these sort of sites and don’t typically take them too seriously. At the end of the day if it helps our folk come together in a constructive and positive way I’m not gonna knock it.

I am folkbuilder and event coordinator for a folkish, and tradional pagan community rooted in the true and native spirituality of our Aryan/European ancestors. If you’d like to know more, or are interested in meeting like minded folk in real life, feel free to start posting here!
