I am a member of that church but I have not been to this Hof in MN; I know the members in that region are doing a lot of work to get it ready for its dedication. The best way to support and even be invited to the Baldurshof in MN would be to join the AFA (if you are serious about being Asatru): runestone.org

If you are just interested to visit as a non-member, it will be some months before it is open and you would need to wait for an event to be scheduled there.

Anyone visit that pagan church in Minnesota yet? Was planning a trip someday and would like to visit that place. Here in Texas I haven’t spoken to many pagans but I’ve known a few. A woman came up to be when I was getting tires changes and asked me about my mjolnir. I have no problem talking about it and I get more responses from women than men. Maybe because us guys don’t walk up to each other and complement on neck chains.

I joined a folkish Asatru group and went to an event of theirs this past weekend. I’m very glad I went and really realized that this is perfect for me, so I am going to try to become active in supporting the group. Everyone is on the same page in terms of the struggle so there is not really a strong need to discuss it, which allows us to focus on a positive vision for the future instead of delving into negative and inflammatory discussions.
