Like mountain biking, reading, gardening, etc. Been getting into rock climbing lately. Always enjoyed the outdoors and loved living things. Getting out of academia after my recently completing my PhD but I’ve spent a long time in school; ideally looking for someone else of an intellectual bent. Still love science and enjoy teaching, just don’t like the profound isolation that comes with the academic lifestyle. Biggest disappointment of my life is that I’ll likely never get to live in the Mars colony.
