Midwest Magnetism
ParticipantFor everyone who is averse to paying, let me say why I’m in favor of a paid site:
1. It weeds out those who aren’t serious. Many people join dating sites simply to receive attention; much time and emotional energy is wasted. Nothing says ”I’m serious” like opening your wallet.
2. It’s economically necessary. Comparing this (relatively small) site to huge players like OKCupid, eHarmony, etc. isn’t fair. A small site hasn’t yet achieved economy of scale. In other words, their costs per user are much higher than a large site like OKCupid. As a result, it’s harder to break even, much less turn a profit. All businesses are affected by this principle.
3. This site is the only one of its kind. To my knowledge, no other dating site is exclusively White. And the large sites, which allow you to filter by race, are being pressured to stop doing so. In 5 years, I predict that filtering by race will be forbidden.
4. This site is more than just dating. There is access to the Forum, articles, interviews, Get Well With Tabitha, etc. These additional features are free, but still valuable. Personally, I’d pay for the non-dating features alone.
5. In case anyone hasn’t noticed: we are being White-erased. Even the word ”genocide” is no longer an exaggeration. The antidote is more White children. Sites like WhiteDate have an intrinsic value in that they facilitate White marriages and children — even if not your own. So, think of a membership as an investment into White communities in general.
There are probably even more reasons to pay, but I think the above is enough.
Finally, it’s not lost on me that money is scarce among some of us — especially in the era of Covid-19. For those of you who truly can’t afford a membership, I believe you should be excused. But this is an argument that you shouldn’t have to pay now, not that you shouldn’t have to pay in principle. The principles for paying are above, and they aren’t going away any time soon.
Cheers everyone.
