Disclosures first: my birth year, 1958, does not appear on your menu. Maybe that ages me out for many, but I am in excellent health, financially independent (rendering “income” arbitrary), and very, perhaps excessively, well-read, travelled, and experienced. You decide. (Also my J.D. and LL.M. are not quite a “Doctorate,” but that seemed the closest fit.)

I’ve accomplished a lot and by contemporary standards should be satisfied but, without progeny, success seems hollow. Also, most of my achievements have been among anti-civilizational ideologies and career options presented to me. I dropped out years ago but atonement remains in order. I’m politically conscious but have little confidence in the electoral system. I don’t despair totally but best to start small.

After a loving wife and healthy children, I seek to belong to a resilient, wholesome community. While I strongly respect religion and the religious and find the existence of God rather obvious from creation alone, I stumble over commitments to various more particular historical miracles, such as the resurrection of Christ. Still, I would welcome a Christian help meet and, in that context, would be happy to go along with the rest for the sake of our children and community.
