I cherish the best of Western civilization and have long been concerned about its continued viability.  (I am a white American of mostly colonial English descent, some German, Irish, Danish, Dutch, Scots, Swiss, French, and Irish ancestry.)

I seek a Christian woman — a believer, not merely nominal — who has intellectual passions as well as emotional ones, and with whom I share the spark of mutual desire:  in short, congruity in body, soul, and spirit.

My own interests are wide-ranging, principally in history, music and the other fine and applied arts, nature, travel, and more.  I am open to new experiences and knowledge, but I have little interest in electronics and most sports.
